Homeland’s beauty in Lai Dien Dam’s photos


Photographer Lai Diem Dam opened his individual photo exhibition yesterday in Hanoi.
On display are 60 colour and black and white photos taken by the artists since 1982 featuring the beauty of the homeland with rice field, buffalo and kites flying on the sky.
Lai Dien Dam was awarded Artist of Excellency of International Federation of Photographic Art (A.E.FIAP) and is one the two Vietnamese artists to receive Vietnam Photographic Artists’ Association’s Gold Excellency titlte (E.VAPA-G).
He won many prizes at home and abroad. Most of his prize winning works vividly depict live the life in rural areas.
The exhibition runs until April 20 at 45 Trang Tien street, Hanoi.
