To give the younger generations an opportunity to learn about President Ho Chi Minh, the youth union and HCM City yesterday opened an exhibition in which 50 photographs, letters and documentary films related to his life and revolutionary cause are on display.
Presidential library: Youth Union members read books and articles about President Ho Chi Minh at an exhibition being held in HCM City to mark his 118th birthday.The weeklong exhibition at the HCM City Youth Cultural House is part of the city’s activities to celebrate the 118th birthday of President Ho on May 19, and the 97th anniversary of his first trip abroad in connection with the fight for independence.
The exhibition, titled Learn and Follow the Example of Ho Chi Minh, is also part of a nationwide campaign to encourage youths to follow in the footsteps of President Ho.
Also on display are some 50 posters featuring the leader and 50 pictures showing youths practising his precepts, painted by both amateur and professional painters.
Several articles about President Ho and films on his revolutionary cause are also on show.
