Vietnam’s first 4D cinema opened Friday in Ho Chi Minh City’s Suoi Tien Theme Park.
The 120-seat ALTA Cine 4D Max Suoi Tien in District 9 consists of a 3D screen with a fourth dimension created by special effects such as a six-channel surround sound system, shakable seats and man-made wind, water, bubbles and snow.
With hi-end technologies installed by US-based Iwerks group, the US$3-million cinema is one of the most modern movie theaters in the Southeast Asian region.
During the Tet holiday the cinema will show a Polish-American film, Legend of White Horse, the story of a romance between Giparang, a warrior, and a beautiful girl named Seonhwa.
