Jazz Lovers in Hanoi

"Jazzman flirts with tradition

Jazz lovers now have another chance to enjoy jazz performed by Vietnam’s number one saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan.
He will be playing with his group on February 20 at the French Cultural Center in Hanoi.
Renowned Vietnamese jazzman Tran Manh Tuan is popular among music lovers in general and saxophone lovers in particular.
He has never stopped learning and improving his creativity to better combine different genres and produce music that is powerful and interesting.
He has just returned from a tour with the French Jazz group Mezcal Jazz Unit to promote an album called “Tim gio” (Searching for Breezes).
This time, Tuan and his folk-playing friends, will come back to Hanoi with a new ambition: to take the combination of traditional and mod-ern styles to the next level.
Those interested in attending can get free tickets at the reception of L’Espace – the French Cultural Center at 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.
