Supermodel contestants walk for famous designer

Vietnam Supermodel
2012 contestants have gathered for a fashion show featuring a collection
by designer Cong Tri at the Riverside Palace Wedding and Convention in
HCM City.
The event was one of the activities honouring Vietnamese brands
including Cong Tri’s KIN brand, which has made significant contributions
to the fashion industry in Vietnam.
It also provided a good opportunity for the contestants to gain
experience on the catwalk before the final stage of the competition in
Hanoi on June 24.
The charm and beauty of the female models were highlighted by Cong
Tri’s collection of smart dresses in blue, orange and black, while their
male colleagues looked elegant in finely designed suits.

LookAtVietnam - 30 models are competing in the final round of Vietnam Supermodel 2011, in the resort city of Da Lat and HCM City on September 10-20.
In this round, they have to show off their skills in sport dance, photographic, night gown and swim suit.
The final night will take place on September 25 in Hanoi. The winners will be decided based on the audience’s votes and the jury’s marks.

Tips on Travel to Vietnam

It's always warm in Southeast Asia apart from high mountains, so leave the heavy clothing at home. Cotton and breathable fabrics are always better than synthetics -- although cotton does wrinkle a lot when traveling! December through April is roughly the dry season in that region, although it can still rain a little. December is a good time to go in terms of temperature -- cooler than in the humid summertime. Either way, wearing more clothing (shirt sleeves and long pants) is always more respectful towards the Asian culture, especially when visiting temples and rural areas.
