Hanoi honor unigue cultural beauty

To honor Hanoi’s unique cultural beauty and bring contemporary arts to life, artist Tran Hau Yen The and his co-workers will open an exhibition about Hanoi’s Old Quarter on August 15.

The exhibition “Streets of Memory” will be presented at Viet Art Center, 42 Yet Kieu, Hanoi.
Documentary photographs about the old streets of Hanoi will be presented, along with contemporary art works by artists Nguyen Huy An, Le Tran Hau Anh, Nguyen Quoc Thanh, Tran Hau Yen The which offer different experiences of the city; particularly stalls which introduce Hang Ma and Hang Long streets’ special products.
In addition, crafts persons will perform during the exhibition period.
During the exhibition period, there will be discussion about the value of heritage to art with the participation of Dr. Nguyen Van Huy, former director of Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, and art critic Nguyen Quan on August 18.
The exhibition will close on August 19.
