700 moments of a Hanoi fan

ED NOTE:  I'm jealous,  I have at least 3000 photos of Vietnam.  Good idea Duc Loi.

Photographer Duc Loi is about to introduce a photo book named “Hanoi – Moments in My Heart”, with 700 photos about Hanoi that he took during the first decade of the 21st century.

Duc Loi has worked as a photographer for several decades and he has only taken photos of Hanoi. He noted that he has captured the beauty and character of every street in the capital city.
For him, Hanoi today is very different from the old days, so he often took photos in the early morning or late night because at that time, Hanoi becomes quiet, revealing its true character.
Duc Loi is known for many famous photos about Hanoi, especially the set of four photos about the capital city in spring, summer, winter and autumn. The old photographer now owns a “warehouse” of photos about Hanoi.
He explained that the upcoming book will have six chapters: European architecture in Hanoi, relics in Hanoi, spiritual life, cultural life, the Old Quarter and Hanoi’s festivals.
To have this book, Duc Loi chose the best 1400 photos from his collection and sent them to his friends and his publishing house to shortlist to 1000, and then later 700, photos.
The book will show the changes in Hanoi during the initial ten years of the 21st century.
