Ho Chi Minh City’s Caravelle Hotel General Manager John Gardner tells Thanh Nien how his historic hotel plans to make its next decade welcoming, full of character and green.
Thanh Nien: If you had to describe your hotel in just a few words, what would you say?
John Gardner: I would say something like warm hospitality and character in the heart of Saigon.
The hospitality and welcome that we provide to our guests is one of the features of this hotel; its something we get compliments about all the time from our guests.
They just so often tell us of how we provide excellent service, how they come here and they feel very much at home, they feel like they’re at a home-away-from home, and that’s a real feature of our hotel.
They stay here because the location is very, very good, it’s probably the best location of any hotel in the city, and the service that we provide is exceptional.
