Chinese man uses nicotine patches to cover hole in chest

A Chinese man has been hailed as a DIY doctor after using cigarette packets to cover up a gaping hole left in his chest after running out money for crucial heart surgery. Rao Jicang has survived for ten years with the plastered patches despite his heart being visible through paper folds.He says is now desperately looking for a donor to pay for proper treatment to help cover the wound that measures seven by three inches.The 51-year-old says he keeps the coverings sterile and changes the patches several times a day.
