30 flights delayed in Vietnam over fuel fee dispute- Airlines / Aviation-Transportation-News By Industry-News-The Economic Times

HANOI: A Pacific Airlines official says some 30 domestic flights were delayed in Vietnam for several hours after a company hired to fuel the planes refused to work following a dispute over pumping fees. Airline general director Luong Hoai Nam says service resumed Tuesday only after intervention by Transport Minister Ho Nghia Dung. Nam says about 5,000 passengers were delayed two to three hours following the service disruption. Wednesday's media reports that Air Petroleum Company, or Vinapco, briefly refused to fuel Pacific Airlines' aircraft after the airline did not agree to pay an additional $10 for each ton pumped.
