Hanoi, Mar 23 (Prensa Latina) Prolonged rain and intensive whirlwinds left on Sunday 10 people injured and losses for over $2 million in Phu To, a Vietnamese central province.
The storm winds destroyed 60 houses and around 200 electricity pylons, while over 1,000 houses lost their roofs.
The phenomenon also damaged 1174 acres and 988 others of fruits for industrial purposes, and around 1,500 cattle and poultry died.
Provincial authorities are working to overcome the damage and guarantee that the region returns to normalcy.

According to official data 462 people died, 33 are missing, and 856 were injured, while 1,000 houses were totally destroyed and 718,000 others were damaged.
