Major US-backed tourism project awaits PM approval
The administration of central province of Quang Nam said Monday that a US$10 billion tourism project invested by American firms was submitted to the prime minister for approval.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Ca said that Global C&D Inc.
in coordination with some US-based companies planned to build the Dragon Beach Casino Resort project on a 460-hectare area in Dien Ban District.
The high-end tourism complex will include luxury hotels, casinos, an international meeting center, trade center, golf course, sport facilities, and other entertainment amenities.
Investors plan to allot a 60-hectare area on the project site to build a relocation area for residents who currently inhabit the land.
They also promised that at least one person per family whose land is reclaimed would be trained to work for the resort.
Ed note: Sounds like Las Vegas to me, visit Vietnam, before invasion, which is already on its way.
