A new TV series called Kieu Nu va Dai Gia (Beautiful Ladies and Wealthy Men) produced by the HCM City-based Blue Planet Film Studio and HCM City TV (HTV) was launched last Friday.
The 30-episode series will air on HTV9 channel at 10.30pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, beginning next Saturday.
Director Nguyen Vo Duy Ngoc of Blue Planet Film said the company spent more than US$250,000 to produce the film.
The film’s storyline is based on a reportage entitled Kieu Nu San Dai Gia (Beautiful Ladies Hunting for Wealthy Men) by Nguyen Minh Chi that was published in the local Phap Luat (Law) newspaper. — VNS
